Cinderella Party Theme

Begin planning your grand ball by sending out royal invitations. Make the invitations out of rolled up paper tied with blue ribbons. Write out the instructions for your royal bash in calligraphy.

Hire guards or have friends dress in costume and announce guests as they walk in with a trumpet in hand.   Entertain guests by playing the waltz or rent a carriage drawn by two pure white horses.

Proper attire for the ball should include tuxedos, ball gowns, wands, gloves, glass slippers, and tiaras. 

The party space can become a royal palace by building a castle prop to place outside the front door or purchasing one at a prop store.  Place large pumpkins outside to remind guests of the Cinderella story.  Hang a chandelier above the dance floor.  If the party is in the backyard, put up a big white tent or canopy. 

For a child’s birthday, Cinderella-themed napkins, plates, cups and other supplies can be purchased online or at a party supply store.  Serve elegant guests Champagne in glass flutes.  A royal feast should include vegetable platters, hors d'oeuvres, caviar, and Sebastiani wine.
