Irish Party Theme

Cut Shamrocks out of green stock paper for unique invitations.

Wear a shamrock velvet hat, green vest, green blazer, green scarf, and black boots.

Decorate with green and gold balloons, streamers, paper lanterns, and shamrock dangling decorations. Set up Irish flags,  leprechaun cutouts, and a pot of gold. Paint a rainbow on butcher paper and paste on the wall.

Place Ireland travel book and brochures on each table and inspire guests to learn more.  Serve Irish stew, cheddar and stout fondue, pea soup, corned beef, cabbage, baked potatoes, and Bailey's Irish Cream Mousse Pie.  Gulp it down with Irish beer or whiskey and soda for the kids.  Serve Irish favorites on shamrock paper plates, with shamrock napkins and cups.

For an adventure, set up a treasure hunt in search of a pot of gold. Hide chocolate coins in a black pot and give guests clues about where it is hidden. Shamrock beads and gold coins make perfect party favors for an Irish party.
