Winter Wonderland Party Theme

Create your own Winter Wonderland in your backyard!

Send out unique, snowflake-shaped invitations for your Winter Wonderland party. Remind guests to dress warm, with mittens, coats, scarves, boots and sweaters.

You can host a Winter Wonderland party during any time of the year. Just find a company that makes and delivers fake snow. Another option is to rent or buy a snow machine for a snowfall effect. Dump the snow out on the yard and let guests make snow angels, build a snowman or have a snowball fight.   Provide sleds, plastic saucers, and tubes and make a small hill to slide down on. Collect the fixings for a snowman- twigs, a scarf, pinecones, coal and carrots and have fun creating your new friend!

For a creative activity, give each guest white construction paper and a pair of scissors and make unique snowflakes. Hang them on a tree for decorations.

If your Winter Wonderland party is happening around the holidays, decorate the lawn with candy canes, plenty of lights, and an inflatable holiday decoration.  Drape white fabric over furniture and trees for a White Christmas or holiday. Guests will also bond as they decorate a Christmas tree or sings holiday songs.  Play seasonal music to keep the party going.

Warm up after a day of fun in the snow with blankets and sit next to the fireplace or fire pit.  Sip on hot chocolate with marshmallows and sings songs as a group. Give each guest a stocking full of candy, especially Hershey’s Kisses and red and green M&Ms.
