PACHANGA The Latin Sound of the Low country!. PACHANGA is a three piece band lead by Juan Buzo (Drums and Vocals), together with Fuzzy Davis (Congas and Vocals) and Jesus Hernandez (Keyboard and Vocals). Professional musicians with experience and knowledge in Latin music and rhythms. All having played with different bands and musicians several styles of music independently. PACHANGA started in 2003 as a percussion band named Son Tambor playing African and Latin rhythms (Afro-Cuban) using various instruments such as congas, bongos, shakers, cowbells, maracas, cajon, etc. Around 2004, with the necessity to have a Latin band in the area, Son Tambor became more than a percussion band adding keyboards and evolving into Son Tambor y la PACHANGA!. Son Tambor y la PACHANGA decided to turn 180 degrees and start playing as a full band keeping the original idea of playing latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue, cumbia, bolero, etc. Playing music of Ricky Martin, Celia Cruz, Santana, Angeles Azules, Sonora Santanera, Joe Arroyo, Sonora Dinamita, Buena Vista Social Club, etc. Mid 2004 Son Tambor y la PACHANGA became PACHANGA The Latin Sound of the Lowcountry, which translates to PARTY, CELEBRATION, GOOD TIME, FUN!!...etc. PACHANGA selected the best music to play, all the classics, new, old and the most popular songs that people like to listen and dance to! Therefore, EVERYONE will enjoy and have FUN with it!!
