For weddings, the bride and groom will be busy at the event, so a studio caricature can be done before that can be matted and signed by guests or used for announcements and gifts.

Adam Pate is not just another caricature artist, he's an ENTERTAINER! At an event with TONS of people, like at a high school dance or festival, he sits beside a sign to attract attention to what he's doing. There is a clock on the sign and he encourages people in line to look over his shoulder and time him while they wait. It takes between 45-60 seconds for Adam to do a drawing and the longest anyone has waited in line for a caricature from him is about 20 minutes.
