From studying journalism during college in Huntsville to painting faces in Houston, Texas born make up artist Anne Rogers' rise in the beauty industry has been one of hard work and noteworthy success.
Noted for her exceptional talent for her artistry skills during her grade school years and her interest in cosmetics, her parents encouraged her to go to college at Sam Houston State University. Anne furthered her education, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/PR. There she spent four years and during this time had the opportunity to work on many student films. It was during these years that she decided to turn her passion for faces and her creative use of color into a career. With her artistic background, love of fashion and delicate technique she has created many fashion and beauty pictures. Her down to earth attitude and no nonsense approach has put her in high demand within the Houston fashion and beauty scene.
Her make up ability was first seen by local artist Tree Vaello of Page Parkes Center for Modeling and Acting as well as the Tree Vaello Artist Group. Since then she has worked with some of the beauty industry's leading lines of cosmetics which include Paula Dorf Cosmetics and Laura Mercier Cosmetics. She has also worked with some of Houston's best fashion photographers which include Arthur Garcia, Colin Kelly, Dan Carter, Robert Seale and Pam Francis.
Anne has worked on numerous weddings, special occasions and fashion shows. This has allowed her to work with many leading Houston stylists and/or designers that have included Caesar Galindo and Todd Ramos.
Anne's work has been displayed in different publications including a feature with former Miss Texas USA, Magen Ellis in the Houston Chronicle. Her work can also be seen in the feature film, "The Waiter" where she had the privilege of working with famed actors Charles Durning and Glenn Morshower.
