The dancers of Island Inspirations, LLC are a collective group of award winning artists who have performed professionally within the Islands of the Pacific and beyond. Our beautiful dancers undergo extensive training in learning the customs, dance, arts, song, and language and must go through a strenuous audition before being hired at the age of 18 or older. Once you experience the show, you'll know why this dance company has been featured on major motion pictures, commercials, television and print adds. We are proud to present dancers such as Elise Ganaden who is a six time overall vahine champion, she has won thirteen first place awards, Kauai's coveted mayor's award and is currently directing our Northern California division. The group is under the direction of Alewa Maiava-Olotoa who is also an accomplished hula dancer for over 20 years. Her focus is that each cast member shows their enduring passion for the Polynesian culture which allows the audience to see the true ways of these magical islands that are still very much alive
About the Show
The magnetism of Polynesia leaves the Pacific Island people who demonstrate and perform their lively traditional arts of song and dance nothing less than captivating.
Island Inspirations, LLC. talent blends, in a brief moment of time, traditional and modern styles to create an eventful and memorable Polynesian revue. Audiences will be lead by an exciting emcee of the show on an exploration through the Islands of Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti and Samoa in total celebration of their culture and history which preserve the special qualities that make Polynesia so enticing to all who encounter it. Shows include vibrant costumes, fire dancers, and enchanting music with drum beats that transcend you into paradise on the spot. Island Inspirations may be the professionals but the secret to every successful party is to have the guests join in on the fun. The show is flexible for audience participation which typically becomes the highlight of every event. Thanks to skills and an award-winning cast, Island Inspirations can bring this wonderful experience all to you.
