Allawah Retreat is an award winning spa retreat which nestles on 150 acres of Australian native bush high on a ridge overlooking the picturesque Atherton Tablelands, in the Cairns Highlands. The retreat offers four spacious fully self contained romantic hilltop spa lodges for couples.
Each romantic retreat has been designed to offer maximum privacy and inside you will find meticulous attention to detail.
Allawah (aboriginal for âsit down, stay here and rest a whileâ) is the ideal romantic getaway or as a superb base from which to explore all the attractions of the historic Tablelands and the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Our own walking tracks allow you to explore the surrounding woodlands where youâll discover interesting flora, bird life and see wallabyâs and kangaroos up close.

Facilities
The lodges are fully self contained, are individual in design, and offer every luxury, including huge heated deck spas, BBQ, plunge pool, hand crafted red cedar furniture, double shower, DVD, stereo sound system, cosy log fires, comfy lounges, complimentary port, robes, fresh native flowers, hand made chocolates and home made cookies. Each has itâs own laundry.
