Andromeda String Quartet / Trio Location: Los Angeles, CA Telephone: 310-498-7629 Contact: Marcella Scordas Description Andromeda String Quartet was founded in 2001 by four UCLA graduates with advanced degree in music performance. In the past years they have performed for over 300 weddings, corporate functions, and special events. Members of Andromeda recorded for numerous movies. They can be seen in The Wedding Planner, the Warner Brothers TV series “Jack and Bobby,” the wedding scene in Grandma’s Boy, and their most resent work Poseidon. Their repertoire includes all styles of music: light classical, jazz, pop, movie tunes, etc., in addition to a large selection of songs for processionals and recessionals. Andromeda String Quartet consists of two violins, viola, and cello. For smaller functions and a more intimate ambiance, a trio or even a duo may be the perfect choice. Substitutions or the addition of other instruments (flute or harp for example) is possible depending on your needs and preferences. For any large formal event, the classical string quartet is the perfect accompaniment with its full, rich, and sonorous sound.
