I started in 1974 at the age of 18. I kept the business open while I got my degree in Fashion design at RISD. I starteed making puppets and costumes at about 14 years old. The costumes are fabulous and one of a kind. Although, I have other seamstresses working for me, I still pick out the fabric and oversee the costume. I am so proud of my collection. I sell wholesale to 2 stores in NY and 2 stores in LA. I still want to keep it small and personal. I also custom make mascots for schools and corporate companies. I also make headpieces and puppets. I rent the costumes out . People appreciate that I keep the cost down. I love my business! |
