Bunny Rabbit Birthday Parties and Events
***Indoors or out, "hare's" something different! Bunny birthday parties for all ages from 1 year old to teens. Show & tell runs from petting, feeding and viewing several breeds of bunnies (and some baby bunny litters) to informational classes on rabbit care for teens & adults. Rabbits are my hobby and my passion. I love to share about bunnies!
***We also do school parties and teaching events. I can come in costume and be the "Fairy Godmother of Animals".

***Information is age appropriate. I teach lessons on rabbit care for the older teen parties. We let the little kids feed the bunnies hay and bunny treats, let the (older) birthday child run with a bunny on a leash. Everything is done with safety of kids and bunnies in mind. I love showing people how fun rabbits can be, and then how quiet they can be.
***Note: Our bunnies were raised here and enjoy being handled, as they were handled since birth. This is the perfect opportunity for children to learn something about them in a structured, safe way. It also has the opportunity of children being able to have the bunny experience without necessarily adopting one. This is a win-win experience.
***I have angoras, mini lop and dwarf hotot that I raise for show. At one party, the Mom wanted to do some spinning of the Angora hair, I taught the parents about angora grooming and the mom did some spinning.

***I charge a rate calculated by distance from my home plus bridge toll if I come to your home. From the time I step out to get the bunnies until I return and do laundry this can be several hours, so closer to me is $125 and far away can be $225 for the party. If I spend more than 2 hours at your home it only costs $30 an hour for me to stay longer.
***Once at your home, set up takes about 20 min. The actual event is around 45 to 60 min. (depending on the kids attention span). Cleanup and packing is 30 - 40 min. Some kids watch the set up through the clean up phases.
***Home schools, teen birthday parties, barn tours can come to my home "rabbitry" There I teach about rabbits, breeds and their care.
***If you bring the kids to my house I charge by the hour. An avg. event at my home cost around $50.
***If you are on a short budget I can bring three to four rabbits to your home for a show and tell without the run-around / feeding time for the kids for a lower fee.
