What is a CARICATURE:
As a caricature artist the most asked question is how do you say carricacature, carricature, characturn, carkkature, and finally the easy way out they say sketch or cartoon? I tell people the best way to say it is like this CARE-RICK-A-TURE.
Caricatures are funny, silly, and exaggerate the features and qualities that make up who you are. God must have had a sense of humor when he made us. We are all unique and different. None of us are the same and that's good. We all have a feature or flaw that we do not want highlighted. Caricatures are not always about highlighting the bad or the ugly features you may have, its about having fun and exaggerating the qualities that make you, YOU!
Caricatures makes a great gift, souvenir, party favor, or memento. People line up to be sketched and then take the picture home. It's a form of entertainment that lasts long after the party is over. These caricatures often turn up on inter-office email, faxes, memo pads, bulletin boards-even cyberspace. They are hung up on walls in offices and homes around the world.
