Having gone through the wedding planning process ourselves and being a husband-and-wife team, we know what it's like to plan and orchestrate your wedding - amazing and fun, yet at times stressful and overwhelming - so let us assist in creating your seamless and breathtaking wedding!
Your Planners:
We are husband and wife, Nick and Aleah Valley. Fine Line Management & Events was formed after our 2003 wedding. We had so much fun expressing our creativity when planning our wedding, we were instantly inspired to start our own business. Having both graduated from Washington State University with Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Social Sciences, respectively, our professional and business skills have blended well with our creativity.
It takes more than simply enjoying events to plan and execute special events perfectly. Experience, coordination, organization, business savvy, an eye for design, and a feel for new trends as well as classic approaches is vastly important. Imagination, innovation, knowledge, and experience with people are all ingredients in hosting a successful and unforgettable event. We encompass all of the above, and strive to provide flexibility, tailoring packages to suit your needs.
What Makes FLME Different From the Rest?
Being a husband and wife team makes us so unique because not only do brides have a wedding planner they can relate to, but grooms also feel comfortable when Nick is involved. Grooms love attending our fun and upbeat planning meetings, and our clients rave about this matchless feature we offer.
Having backgrounds in business is also very important, as we know what it takes to run and maintain unforgettable weddings, winning charity, corporate, and other special events. Coordinating budgets, managing timelines, overseeing designs and vendors, and working closely with brides and grooms is part of creating a special and different "package" for each wedding. Maintaining clear lines of communication between executives and staff is critical to the achievements of any business, and this all-important necessity is often best accomplished through corporate events, such as retreats. Focusing limited funds and resources to create successful charity events and functions is also important, and these rare skills lend well to planning amazing and wonderful weddings.
Paired with our educational backgrounds, unique style, and originality, we feel this combination is stellar. It is a key in making the perfect event; from the starting details of the engagement to the finishing detail of the last dance or the honeymoon, or the inception of new business ideas to the structure itself through a retreat or picnic. We have a "no cookie cutter" event policy, and strive to make each event we coordinate unique, different, and simply unforgettable.
