Flipside was formed in 1992 specifically for corporate and wedding entertainment. We have played hundreds of events and have the experience to adapt to any situation immediately. Flipside is not a "pick up band", in that, when Flipside performs we only use our core performers. This allows us better ensembles, vocal harmony and the familiarity of musicians that a professional band should have. Flipside has performed in almost every major Colorado Ballroom, Country Club and Hotel for countless weddings and private functions.
Unlike most bands and DJs, Flipside never uses pre-set songlists. The music is played to compliment the ebb and flow of the party. This gives us the ability to always play the perfect song at the perfect time. Besides our ability to choose the music spontaneously, Flipside has the repertoire to be versitile. Most bands specialize. Big bands play swing great but their classic rock is lacking. Disco bands are great for 70s cover music but usually struggle with latin music. Flipside was formatted to play everything well. Our big band charts are classic arrangements, our classic rock is authentic and our core sound can change with the music. This is done with a combination of very talented musicians who are skilled at many instrument and vocal styles merged with leading edge music technology. |
