We are a 4 Star accredited Lodge situated in Marloth Park which is approximately a 15 minute drive from the Crocodile Bridge Entrance to the Kruger National Park. The Crocodile River creates a boarder between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park. This Southern part of the Kruger Park is known for the highest concentration of game and the Big Five are spotted regularly.
The bird life is abundant and we boast with over 800 species of birds.
Grand Kruger Lodge is a haven in the heart of the Bush. The game roams freely around the Lodge and you should expect a visit from the animals whilst you stay here. Outside, on the wooden deck there is a lovely braai and pool area where 5 course South African meals are served. In our piece of heaven you can relax in an open pool, sip cocktails and experience Africa at its best in style. For the tired any weary bodies we have Therapeutic treatments on request.
The Lodge is elegantly decorated in African-style décor, enhancing the ambience. The 8 deluxe air-conditioned suites are positioned in such a way as to offer maximum privacy to our guests as well as providing the best views the bush has to offer. All suites are equipped with mini-bars, tea/coffee facilities, air-conditioning, overhead fans, mosquito machines and en-suite bathrooms.
Transfers to and from Nelspruit can be arrange
If you wish to go on a game drive, you will be accompanied by a qualified guide and a drive will be on an open game viewer. Game drives to the Kruger National Park include entrance fees and a brunch in the bush. Night drives into Kruger Park are available on request as well as bush walks (you will be accompanied by a qualified guide).
Grand Kruger Lodge also offers our clients the opportunity to stay in our exclusive (Grand Kruger Bush Camp). These rooms are decorated exquisitely with African artefacts, whilst the exterior is an alluring facade of local architecture. Each room features a loft, which allows for up to 4 guests to sleep upstairs and downstairs, each loft has its own private bathroom en-suite. Each chalet is equipped with Tea / coffee making facilities as well as a mini bar, air-conditioner overheard fan and private balcony
The balcony allow for guests to while away the day and night privately on their sojourn. Meals can be taken in the main Lodge dining room or delivered to the privacy of your chalet. Experience nocturnal and early morning calls of the wild. The management and staff are looking forward to hearing from you and allowing us to further enhance your holiday experience
