Born and raised in Hawaii, Pumehana ( pu-may-ha-na) has performed as a soloist for weddings, restaurants, fine retail stores and hotels professionally since 1983.
Classic, upscale and elegant. The presence of the harp alone speaks for itself. The sound of the harp makes people want to listen. Harpist Pumehana Davis Wadsworth makes it memorable.
With an array of audio samples to listen to on her website harphawaii.com from Canon in D to Stairway to Heaven, live harp music allows for conversation without interruption.
Pumehana has 3 harps for different settings. A lever harp for beach or outdoor locations that provide no backup site to inclement weather. An acoustic (concert grand) harp for indoor and some outdoor locations. An electric (semi concert )harp for recording and air conditioned rooms only.
Her repertoire includes Classical, Hawaiian, Contemporary, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Movie Themes, Love Songs, Jazz, Standards,. Song requests are welcome 45 days prior to the event date.
She books by contract with a 25% retainer and payment in full 30 days prior to the event. Payment accepted by check , Mastercard or Visa credit card.
