The Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center is located in Houma, LA -- the Heart of America's Wetland, which is less than an hour's drive to New Orleans and Louis Armstrong International Airport. Houma and Terrebonne Parish are also centrally located to the state capital, Baton Rouge, as well as Lafayette. Our multi-purpose facility, open since January 1999, boasts 100,000 total sq. ft. under one roof. The building’s main hall can be separated into two separate expo areas. Adjacent to the main hall is the 10,000 sq. ft. meeting or banquet room wing that can be divided into 5 distinct rooms. The surrounding grounds include 1600 parking spaces with RV hook-up capabilities for 200. Other special features of the Houma Civic Center include a premier full-service catering department, ready to prepare the finest Cajun or your favorite cuisine, for that matter. Also in-house are a generous inventory of tables, chairs, skirts, as well as A/V and other equipment to fit your event needs. And last but not least, our knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous event coordinators will closely guide you through the event planning stages, be it a company party or meeting for 100 or formal banquet for 1000.
