My company is a mobile Dee Jay / Mobile Karaoke show. I Moved to Denver from the Nations Capital, Washington D.C. in 1984. I joined Dancin Disc record pool and started filling in the gaps in my music library with club bangers from a monthly subscription of vinyl in 1996.While attending a CU Buffs football game in Boulder Colorado a fire gutted my home rendering my Techniqes turntables and amps useless. I replaced my gear sometime shortly after and took on the name DJ Blaze with a new determination to evolve into a club DJ and move from the house party circuit to clubs in the Denver metro area. I loved singing so I purchased a karaoke player and convinced the owner of a Supper Club in Denver Colorado that it would work in a club setting. He slept on it and offered me a gig hosting a show in the lounge around the bar area near the folks dinning on the world famous catfish . The good food and funky sounds were a perfect match as patrons wanted to sip and sing the night away after dinning on some of Colorado's best fried seafood! I have built my library to include R&B, Jazz ,Hip-Hop and Old School...My sound sytem is anchored by 18" Black widows subwoofers and crystall clear Mackey 450's.
The turntables have been replaced by a pioneer dual disc CD player with scratch capability and touch memory for that oooooow, ow -ow -oooooow- play back to keep the bottoms rockin! |
