I perform (and teach) violin & fiddle in Celtic & classical styles. I play as a duo with a skilled guitarist who adds a full, elegant sound without the expense of a several-piece band or quartet.
The music I play can encompass a lot of moods and feelings, from classical music, to evocative Celtic aires, to lively Irish dance music. You can choose quiet background music, stately processionals, or rousing reception and party entertainment, or any combination.
Originally from Fairbanks, I moved to Anchorage just a few years ago. I've been playing the instrument for over 25 years, and actively participating in performances and gigs for 15. I have an overflowing teaching studio. I've recorded a CD of mellow Irish fiddle (in the Sliabh Luachra style) that will be released shortly. |
