Sol performs on an enchanting authentic instrument from Chiapas, Mexico in a variety of settings locally, nationally, & internationally including conventions, concerts, receptions, parties, fundraisers, festivals & more. One of the marimba band's specialties is their in-school program, "The Musics of Mexico," that takes students on a virtual musical tour of four of Mexico's best-known regional musical styles. Based in Kansas City since 1991, Sol arts-educates via KC Young Audiences & is a MO Arts Council-approved Touring Performer.
