I understand policies but you were willing and able to accept my reservation and get this great event done within two weeks. I still get compliments for putting together such a great and everyone who attended was in AWE of your beautiful museum and great banquet rooms. The service that we received from you, your staff and the caterer I would have to rate as FIVE STARS. The place looks nice - but BEWARE - it is hotter than hell in the place. The AC is not adequate for human attendance. More than 1/2 of my nephews wedding guest had to leave as soon as they ate because it was so hot in the place.
The cousins and his mother were dehydrated just from 2 hours of decorating before his wedding because the whole area was an oven. Image what it was like when the guest came.
The bathrooms did not have towels to dry your hands. They were so hot we could not get dressed in them.
The guy began turning off the window AC units 1/2 hour before our event ended.
The people there say they will allow you things - but when it comes time for your event - they say it wasn't in writing in the contract. I know my nephew had to endure 4 different venue personnel before his event. Each one had a different promise.
Some of the table cloths appeared to be dirty and the chair covers were mismatched. The ceiling lights are not tracked for soft lighting. They are either on or off.
Bottom line. For the money - I would NOT recommend this place for an event. |
