Noah's Ark Animal Workshop was founded in April of 2003, when Dina Amico- Kriescher recognized the need for convenient, unique and affordable home birthday parties. Once she really began doing research, she quickly saw the demand for a traveling "Stuff -N- Fluff" Animal Workshop where children actually make their own stuffed animal! In addition to Birthday Parties, Dina was asked to conduct workshops for Preschools, Day Care Centers, Play Groups, Library "Teddy Bear" Story Hours, Summer Camps, Girl Scout Troops and 'just for fun home workshops', where the host invites neighbors, family and friends over to make their own stuffed animal, then dress them in an adorable outfit. This one-of-a kind experience, where children and parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles, experience the fun and joy of creating their very own stuffed animal together, from start to finish, can't be matched! Everyone had a great time and Dina had oodles of fun conducting the Workshops.
The popularity of making your own stuffed animal has become a national phenomenon, but until now, the experience has been chained to a retail location. This is a very inconvenient and nearly impossible event for large groups such as child care centers and preschools, and a very chaotic experience for anyone attempting to bring more than a few children to the mall for a birthday party or scouting troop activity.
The phenomenon of making and dressing your own stuffed animal has grown to over a $500 million per year industry in the United States, while the Childrens Entertainment and Birthday Party industry continues to generate billions of dollars each year. Until now, career opportunities in the lucrative stuff-N-fluff industry have been nearly non-existent!
We joined the company in April 2007 and are active in the community supporting reading and education.
