My husband and I had nothing less than a very exciting wedding with rain, stampeding horses, and rainbows and through it all Rabbi Block maintained his composure and delivered a wonderful ceremony with my pastor. Rabbi Block was a great pleasure to work with. Being that my husband and I come from different religious beliefs, Rabbi Block did a magnificient job blending the two religions making our wedding traditional yet personal to our lives and beliefs. Being that we were not familiar with a ceremony "lay out", Rabbi Block provided sample ceremonies at which we were able to review and pick out the ideas/traditions from each religion that we found most suiting to us. He was a delight and did a wonderful job making our day magnificient. I would highly recommend him to everyone. For I am thinking about calling him when it comes to our baby naming and for future ceremonies. |

We could not be more pleased with Rabbi Block! He is very personable and accommodating. He was always willing to spend time with us to answer our many questions, to discuss different aspects of spirituality, and to put our minds at ease when we felt stressed.
We felt very comfortable with him directing the ceremony and guiding our wedding party about the logistics on our wedding day.
The ceremony that he helped us put together really represented who we are as a couple and felt very genuine. He had a lot of helpful ideas and suggestions, and made it easy for us to put together our ceremony.
Rabbi Block truly has a great presence, and more than a few of our guests have commented about how much they liked the Rabbi and enjoyed the ceremony. |

We could not have been happier with Rabbi Block. All of our guests commented on how much they liked him; he was friendly, funny, and made everyone feel welcome. Even now, over 2 years later (I know, I know--it took me forever to get around to posting this!), when people talk about our wedding one of the first things they mention is that they loved the Rabbi.
He explained all of the traditions so that the non-Jewish guests (which were most of the people there) could understand what was going on, but he was also concise enough to keep the ceremony relatively short as we had wanted.
Our wedding went very smoothly because of him. He even helped find a solution to a last-minute chuppah malfunction! We highly recommend Rabbi Block to others.

Dear Rabbi Block--we were delighted that you officiated at our marriage for a lot of reasons--not the least of which is the fact they you helped create an environment that was calming, loving, spiritual and insightful--and all that with the added bonus of a man with a sense of humor! |

Hi Rabbi Block,
I’ve been raving about you since our wedding and just realized I let everyone know but you! We were so happy with you. You made yourself readily available from the time we met with you, over a year before our wedding, and you worked with us to come up with a ceremony that contained many of the Jewish traditions yet incorporated so much of our personal lives. You provided ideas and options and were completely open minded and flexible. I can’t recall how many times over the past year you said, “it is whatever you want it to be.” There was laughter throughout the entire ceremony starting from the moment I walked down the wrong aisle! I still can’t believe I did that but it was funny and I think it brought everyone together and made the ceremony that much more intimate. We received so many compliments from people on the ceremony and our Rabbi. We loved the little phrases you added into the ceremony and from the laughs of everyone in attendance so did they. We can’t say enough good things about you.
Thanks for everything!

Rabbi-
Thank you so much for your advice, guidance and counsel--and for beautifully
officiating our wedding ceremony. We could not be happier as you helped to
ensure the ceremony reflected our backgrounds and wishes perfectly. We were
impressed from the moment we met you and knew that you would create a
memorable evening for us. Many of our guests have specifically complimented
us on our choice of you--your warmth, sense of humor, and sincere degree of
care was apparent to everyone. Thank you so much for everything.

Dear Rabbi Block,
It was a pleasure meeting you at the wedding. Candy and I enjoyed the ceremony as well as
visiting with you at dinner. You helped to make our visit to Washington D.C. a very enjoyable
experience. If you are ever in our area, we would love hearing from you.
All my best,
Bill |

Dear Rabbi Block,
As the mother of the bride I want to thank you so very much for doing such a lovely service on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
I appreciated how you incorporated our Jewish traditions and explained them to our guests.
You were able to include our family momentos and introduce Nana's veil and yamulkas to our guests.
I know my children, Pam and Jeremy, had a great time at their wedding and your integral part established a warm and familial feel to the evening.
Thank you again.

Dear Rabbi,
I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful ceremony you performed for our daughter's wedding. Your kind words, thoughts, and sensitivity were very much appreciated. I know that by the time I write a "real" note they will have been married a year!! Everything went so smoothly thanks to your guidance.
I am anxious to read your daughter’s book. Understanding and accepting differences makes us “menchen” and we need a little more of that in our world.
Please keep me in mind should you need a support person for your breast cancer women. My experience was different from others as it was very positive.
I have attached out program for you to use as you see fit. Wishing you continued successes.
