Rev. Joan performs many interfaith and contemporary weddings, as well as civil unions where the couples are of different spiritual backgrounds, race, or faiths. She officiates many second marriages and involves the children in the ceremony. She incorporates the different faiths in a soulful way making the day the most important day of the couples life.
Couples should follow their own hearts, She states. Rev. Joan is soul-oriented and her energy and peace are felt by everyone and the day is remembered in peoples hearts long after the ceremony is over.
Rev. Joan has her Doctorate in the Religious Science Ministry and was ordained in 1993. She is founding minister of the Church of Divine Light in Somerset, N.J. |
