Sally Kolar of Sally Kolar Photography in Augusta, Georgia has earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from the Professional Photographic Certification Commission (The independent certification arm of the Professional Photographers of America).
Mrs. Kolar earned this designation after meeting rigorous requirements measuring her artistic and technical competence. The Professional Photographic Certification Commission currently recognizes less than 2,000 Certified Professional Photographers Worldwide (Less than 3% of the 22,000 members of the PPA).
Certified Professional Photographers must complete a 3-hour written examination, a portfolio evaluation by PPA-sanctioned judges, and adhere to a stringent code of conduct. This ensures CPP designated photographers possess a deep technical understanding along with a strong artistic execution. This, combined with a solid ethical foundation, assures clients of the professional delivery of their photographic projects.
Sally Kolar also has won-Best Portrait of a Man-State of Washington-Weathered, Fuji Masterpiece and Best Unclassified Concept-Hourglass, Charles Libby Award-Skagit Valley Tulips-WPPI-Commercial Division-3rd in Country-Delaney Electric. Sally also has prints in the prestigous PPA Loan Collection (The Centrurion and Tybee Island Fleet) and Showcase Books-The Last Glance.
