Portland Oregon based acoustic jazz guitar soloist Eric Skye is a nationally noted recording artist known for beautiful and creative arrangements of standards, ballads, and bossa nova. Eric relocated to Portland a few years ago from San Francisco where he was very active in private event work. He has worked in the homes of such notable Bay Area residents as musician Carlos Santana, San Francisco mayor Willie Brown, and in many of the esteemed wineries and estates of Napa and Sonoma counties.
Eric Skyes two releases, Acoustic Jazz Guitar Solos and For Lulu, both garnered national attention and airplay on in the United States and Europe. Music from the CD has been used as music beds for both NPR and PRI. Hes been in feature articles in national magazines such as Jazziz, Acoustic Guitar, Jazz Improv, and 20th Century Guitar. Eric has been on four live radio performance broadcasts in Portland, including twice for the areas main source for jazz, KMHD 89.1
