I have been a Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies for 20 years, I started my career in 1984 when I became a member of Mayoral teams in two of Greater Manchesters local authorities; part of my duties was to make announcements for the Mayor and other civic dignitaries when required, including on one occasion Her Majesty the Queen. I joined the Guild of Mace-Bearers in 1987 becoming Regional Warden in 1995, my expertise now includes giving advice & assistance on Civic & Ceremonial. In 1992 I became a Member of the Northern Guild of Toastmasters becoming its President in 2003, I was then elevated to Fellow in 2007. In 1998 I was encouraged to go to the Savoy Hotel in London to go before the examining committee of the UK's leading Toastmasters organisation the National Association of Toastmasters, where upon I became an Associate, I passed the membership exams and became a full Member in 2001, being promoted to fellow in 2005. I now officiate as Toastmaster at all the leading UK & International Venues, I am now respected as a friendly courteous Toastmaster who will ensure your event will go smoothly and on time adding that touch of class.
