Stolen by Gypsies is an exciting trio of musicians, centered in Hanover, NH, who specialize in playing Romantic songs and waltzes from France of the 40s and 50s: we take inspiration from Edith Piaf, Charles Asnavour and Maloudji. We also play gypsy-jazz-inspired intsrumentals from the same era, including "La Complainte de la Butte". We will provide a Romantic, reminiscent ambiance for your party, reception, dinner, or celebration, adding in Bossa Nova favorites like "Girl from Ipanema", and witty, current pieces from Paris and Quechee singer-songwriters. We are: Samantha Moffatt (accordeon, guitar, voice and percussion), Mike Gareau.(Violin and mandolin), and Dave Clark (acoustic bass, guitar, voice), and we are ready to entertain you! |
