The BackBeats are the #1 Tribute to The Beatles in the Detroit Michigan area. Using authentic instruments and costumes, The BackBeats take their audiences on a Magical Mystery Tour of yesteryear, when the whole world knew the four names of John, Paul, George and Ringo.
BackBeats founder, Eli Echevarria (John Lennon), is no stranger to the stage. As an award winning childrens entertainer, Eli has performed throughout the Midwest, Canada, and England, and has been an invited guest lecturer at dozens of magic and clowning conventions and workshops. A classically trained musician, Eli has brought together all of his talents to recreate Lennons music and wise-cracking stage persona.
If anyone was destined for his role, it would have to be Bob Beahon (Paul McCartney). Like Sir Paul, Bob is an accomplished bassist (left handed of course), guitarist, pianist, and drummer, and his first tenor voice gives him the rare ability to easily hit McCartneys legendary high notes. Bobs uncanny recreation of Pauls on stage role as master of ceremonies ensures that a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
