Originally built by a Swiss family in the early 1900’s, the Brook Forest Inn has been completely restored to its original stately structure. With unsurpassed furnishings, antiques, fine art and world-class amenities, the staff at the Brook Forest Inn pays close attention to their guests, pampering them in every way. The Historic Brook Forest Inn, in its early days, was known as the elite destination by many Denverites. They often traveled the thirty-five miles by horse and buggy. Some of the elite included President Harry S. Truman, Liberace and many others. As a result of the many worldly stories, legend has it that there were secret meetings of Nazi gatherings, gold hidden in the walls and ghosts of a stable hand and a chamber maid. There have been many sightings of the ghosts “partying” on the third floor over the years. The current owners uncovered a hidden room during restorations and can also share their own personal ghostly experiences.
