I come from a musical background family, Father Sings, plays the harmonium and in his early days played the Sarod. At age 16, Brother Ntin learned to play the Tabla and I was taking lessons with him. I was intrigued with the DJ world and I ejoyed playing music to large groups. I first started with a DJ buddy called Tricky-T, we did a One or Two parties until I met DJ Anand. Together we came up with the DJ name called Sound Creations. We landed a couple of great accounts with nearby schools, and we would regularly play at the dances. Among other parties, the name and the business grew rapidly. During this time there were a few prominent DJs in the Bay Area. DJ Q-BERT, DJ FLARE, MagicMike, NigthLife productions, Majikus, SOS, MVP, Sonic Sounds, and Island Productions. I am blessed in my DJ career, I have traveled all over the world and played at various major clubs internationally alongside other famous performers. From broadcasting to production, people enjoy working with me, my extensive music library in all genres, help them bring new ideas and sounds to thier music. My creative style of musical ways was in great demand. I was mixing Punjabi, Hindi, hip hop, house, trance, club, old school, lounge, underground. My crowd enjoys my diverse music nature, and how I can in corporate all genres in one entire evening of performance. I like to DJ Receptions, Birthdays, College Parties, House Parties, Clubs and Large Corporate Events, its not the place but the people. A DJ sets the tone for the event, it is crucial to find the right DJ who can read the crowd, play the music and keep them dancing on the floor all night long. I also started to do PA set for large performance, some of the clients were METHA Brothers, Naz Cinema, and other show working as a stage coordinator and MC. I would also do PA set for live Artists that were on Tours. After a great following of fans and a great response from the Bay Area, I opened my First Indian DJ CLUB called CLub Ashique in San Mateo, Still today poeple remember the club, and comment on how fun it was, and only place for gathering at that time when all the clubs only played TOP 40 airplay. = CLub ASHIQUE only lasted six months, due to change of ownership/lease of the place. It was open Firday nights from 7pm to 1am, we had great times and parties. Our personality was a good fit for this business, we were never in competition with others, instead networking and making great friends and memories along the way. 7 Years into the business, Anand deciced to take a break and try something different. He Joined with our friends and started dancing on stage for competition and perfomance with group you know as HUM EK now but back then the name was fijivedesiâs (ajen, arvin, vimal, anand, and daniel were the first founders). Dj Cecil was trying to get into the DJ world, and I helped him get his feet wet as well. While DJing and putting myself to college I met up with my Class Mate Tarak Patel, you might know him as DJ ALLADIN (He released remix cd called "strictly the best". Tarak is was a good friend and got interested in DJing, we worked alongside and helping him promote his business. Tarak and I would have two sets of equipments and often I would do two parties in the same night and subcontracting other multiple bookings. We were together for about 2 years then he moved out of state and was Djing in Atlanta, now he does wedding setups, and moved back to the bay area. After tarak, while doing a DJ I met DJ Rahul, he was a DJ also and was starting out. We created an alliance and started to venture DJing together. I met Leena, Mandip, and friends who are Party promoters. We were the FIRST group who made a breakthrough playing every saturday nights at a Major Mainstream Club (Club was called celebritys at the time). During this time there was NO other indian DJ,s who had a regular GIG that infiltrated the SF club community. The parites were a great success, every saturday, people would line up around the corner to get in the club, we always had a full capacity and People loved my DJ styles. Everyone from Sacramento to SF to LA knew who and what we were at came out to represent. Some of the SF club that I perfomed were (151 EDDY, Solya Luna, Barcelona, City Nights, and many others). 12 years had passed by when I first started to DJ. I partied with the best, and was involed in many facets of the DJ world as we know today. Today, with advanced technology, like Serato Scratch Live, which allows you play your MP3's direclty on Analog technics 1200's is a life saver. The new technology will let me play all types of music, hindi, english, bhangra, Hip Hop, Reggae, Buddha Bar, Underground, Latin, Middle Easter, or any other genre's. This allows me to be more creative, it more sound effects, samples, breakdown beats, its a perfect tool for me to become explosive, wow. Trying to keep things simple The DJ Name is " The Music Artists " which is another definition of a DJ. DJ's are also known as Artists, we create music, like a painter ready to paint on a blank canvas but never the same portrait. I am partying with the best and some the great names you have grown to know. I helped formation of the Indian/Eastern Club parties, and one of the true pioneers. I like to give my Props to DJ Mirage, DJ Real Deal, DJ Precaution, DJ Sikhness, and all other DJ's that are banging, keep the beat alive. I welcome all artists to come together, help one another, and create a solid alliance. I have some great blogs on music and musical sense. Its nice to know this web page will here many years from now and I am leaving my mark in the musical world.
