The SensationS are San Diego's favorite variety dance band and are ideal for weddings, private parties, corportate functions and any event requiring GREAT DANCE MUSIC. Our mission is to provide top quality professional live dance music and entertainment for a reasonable price.
The SensationS have performed extensively including on television, concerts, for many weddings, corporate functions, private parties, resorts, casinos, military bases, gala and special events, always to rave reviews, and have an excellent reputation as a first rate professional band which is guaranteed to keep you and your guests dancing, entertained and having FUN the entire time.
Out of all the bands in San Diego, The SensationS were selected by a major entertainment agency to perform 3 big shows for 2,000 guests in the main room, Sails Pavilion, at the San Diego Convention Center for an international corporate event which received excellent reviews. The American Heart Association selected The SensationS to be the band to perform for 10,000 people for their national event which was covered by NBC news and KOGO radio station selected The SensationS to perform for their events twice at Qualcomm Stadium which is home to the NFL San Diego Chargers football team.
We feature the amazing voice of our spectacular female vocalist, as well as 3 outstanding male lead singers, and are renowned for top caliber professional lead vocals, fantastic professional harmonies, superb musicianship and excellent audience rapport. Also featured is our amazing sax player who dazzles our audiences with his brilliant playing.
We play the TOP DANCE HITS from the 60s to today and will keep you and your guests moving and grooving to the music while providing a sensational show. We do the work and you have the FUN! We also have a one full hour set of jazz music for your dinner hour.
We provide a colored stage lighting system and a cd system which allows you to play your cds through our full PA during band breaks.
Guitarist Robert Latimer is also a professional classical guitarist and romantic guitar artist who is also available to perform for your wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. His performance instrument is the world renowned Hernandis Grand Concert classical guitar which may be amplifed. Robert has performed at Rockefellers Concert Hall and for many weddings and events at San Diego's finest venues. Robert's music is ideal for weddings or any event requiring fine guitar music.
