We booked Leah back in September for an April Wedding. Loved her and was told she only took one event a weekend, which was a selling point for us. We had our first meeting with her in early March and was excited about all that was to come. The next week we received an email asking us if it would be ok if she was not at our rehearsal dinner because she had been asked to be the event planner for a large fundraising event. Her first email made it seem like she was asking if it was ok that she sent someone else to the rehearsal, but after expressing our desire to have the same person at the rehearsal and wedding and offering suggestions of moving times to help, it was evident she had already agreed to accept this event. She was going to send her best associate to us and then be there for us on Saturday but that it not want we signed up for. We were disappointed and felt our event now took second place because something bigger and better came along. She did offer to refund our deposit if we decided to hire another coordinator. We chose to do just that and did receive our money back.
