This Side Up, a six piece cover band based out of Tipp City, OH, has taken great care in putting together a unique collection of popular hits from the past four decades to perform for you. Our play list is littered with a wide variety of popular songs aimed at making our shows as much fun as possible for a broad audience. If you’re tired of hearing the same songs every other band in town is playing, then schedule This Side Up for your next event…you’ll be glad you did.
The songs we play are not too heavy, and not too light, and are appropriate for just about any event where a good time is the primary objective – they’re fun, and inspire quite a bit of dancing. Our goal is for our shows to continue in our audiences’ heads long after the last note has been played, and our equipment put away…and to leave people anxious to come see us perform again! If you want to hear comments like “That band was great last night, I can’t believe they played (insert favorite song), I had such a great time!” after your next event, then schedule This Side Up for your next event…you’ll be glad you did.
Musically, our sound is “tight.” We take tremendous pride in learning/playing the distinct musical details and “hooks” of each song and spend hours working out vocal harmonies to make songs sound just right. Our sound, presentation, and performance can be summed up with one word…professional. Most importantly, we all have a blast on stage together which is evident when you see us perform. My wedding is coming up, so I cannot rate the performance of the band. But I can say that the band manager has been extremely unresponsive. I would not recommend using "This Side Up" if you want to avoid the stress of dealing with an unresponsive, unprofessional vendor. |
