The Tropical Wahines are a Polynesian Dance Troupe under the direction of Lisa Allai-Stop. The group has been in existence for approximately fifteen years. The Tropical Wahines perform at educational and family entertainment events. The show includes authentic dances and costumes from Hawaii, Tahiti, Maori and Samoa. The troupe is one of the few, if not the only, in the area that perform the Samoan Fire Dance. Ms. Stop studied Polynesian dance in Hawaii and carries the beauty of the culture and dance to your next event. |
